As a computer scientist by profession, I’ve spent years designing and building technologies and business applications that put real people at the center – creating tools that simplify everyday challenges and deliver meaningful value to end users across industries.
Growing up in the breathtaking Mountain Kingdom of Lesotho, I’ve always been inspired by the resilience, warmth, and unbreakable sense of community that defines our Basotho spirit. From the iconic mokorotlo hat symbolizing our proud heritage, to the colorful blankets that wrap us against the highland winds, our culture teaches us botho – the profound belief that a person is a person through other people. We thrive by lifting each other up, trusting our neighbors, and working together to overcome any challenge.
This deep-rooted passion for technology that truly serves people, combined with my love for Lesotho, is what led me to found Loti Connect.
In a country where WhatsApp is how we already connect – sharing news, supporting family, and doing business every day – I saw an opportunity to harness that familiarity for something transformative. Too often, finding a reliable plumber, electrician, tutor, or any trusted service provider relies on word-of-mouth, luck, or risky guesses. Skilled professionals, meanwhile, struggle to reach genuine customers and grow their businesses.
Loti Connect is my attempt to solve that gap in a practical, local, and honest way.
